Street Bridge (in Marion County)
Parking: There is a small parking area with
room for 1 to 2 vehicles near a cell phone tower
at the corner of 71st Street and Fall Creek Road,
at the northwest corner of the bridge over Fall
Creek. After pulling in off the road be sure to
park to the right, away from the restricted cell
phone tower.
Path to River: There is a 50 yard carry
along a path that begins at the parking area. The
path through trees and bushes is often somewhat
overgrown and requires some ducking to avoid branches.
At the start the dirt path is generally level, though
a little rough, with steeper rip rap at the bottom.
River Access: The river bank is rocky and
at a slight angle, but there is plenty of room to
load several boats at a time, and it is a decent
place to linger while getting ready.
